1908 Cemetery Brochure

"To reach the Cemetery from Manhattan, take [the] East 34th Street Ferry to Long Island City, and [the] Long Island Railroad to Maple Grove Station, at the western entrance of the Cemetery.  The distance from Long Island City to Maple Grove is only 8 miles . With the completion of the Pennsylvania Railroad tunnels, the entire distance between New York and Maple Grove will be covered in less than 20 minutes."
