Round Robin Map of Kew Gardens (1929) (Courtesy of Roger Sabo)  Page 18 of 27
  • If you knew Bill Kunz (actually, Cuntz), then you knew the first president of the Kew Gardens Civic Association.
  • Joseph Fleischmann was a florist whose mansion is now the site of the Beverly House Apartments.
  • "Art Reed" must mean Arthur L. Reed, once president of the Kew Gardens Country Club, although putting his name on a purse suggests he was only the treasurer when this map was drawn.
  • "Murray" could mean Matthew T. Murray listed in a 1922 - 23 Kew Gardens Directory as living on Richmond Hill Drive. The abbreviation "ins" appears after his name indicating he was in the insurance business.
