This is the rear of the 2 story Tudor Building. The parking lot is offscreen to the left. The second and final attack took place some 5 - 10 minutes after the first. After moving his car, the killer, Winston Moseley returned and found Kitty Genovese collapsed in a small hallway behind the door viewable between the sign and the tree in the foreground. This last attack took place well out of sight of the witnesses in the 10 story Mowbray Apartment Building in the background.
