The New Station at Kew

"The Railroad Company acquired a right of way ... and under its contract erected the fine bridges which carry the streets across its lines, which at their summit near Onslow Place lie in a cut [40 ft.] below the general level.   It also erected the attractive station and agreed to furnish at all times a full and adequate service of trains at rates not exceeding those charged to equidistant points on its other lines."
