Count Johannes as portrayed by a student from the Immaculate Conception School of Jamaica Estates, NY. |
![]() I am the infamous Count Johannes, born in London, England 1n 1810. I come from noble blood and was knighted by the Ambassador of Prussia to England. I am told at that time I was the only titled person in America. I have also been known as George Jones. I started doing small acting parts, until I became famous doing the part of Shakespeare's Hamlet. I did that role 107 times and once performed it for Emperor Napoleon and his family. I was paid 50 dollars at times and even up to $1.500! Although I had no official certificate, I practiced as a lawyer. I had many unconventional tactics to win my cases and the judges dreaded when I was in the courtroom. I would quote Shakespeare and other literary pieces to get my point across. My oath was to protect women and gave my services as a lawyer to widows and orphans without charge. I am familiar and expert with all aspects of the Arts, acting, diplomacy, and legal matters. I am Count Johannes.
