Last Page | Next Page Maple Grove Cemetery's 130th Anniversary Gala at the New York Hall of Science A student from the Immaculate Conception School in Jamaica portrays Col. William Cogswell who helped found the cemetery in 1875 and was its first president. This student stood at the main entrance of the Hall of Science and was the first to greet vistors as they entered.
