82nd Road

"[M]illions of yards of material (rocks and earth) were moved in grading out the construction of a practicable street system through and across [Kew Gardens'] rough hills and deep hollows. From the summits of the streets, the sea on the south and the Sound with the skyline on Manhattan and the Palisades on the north, are visible with all the intervening country."
This view is of 82nd Road looking towards Kew Gardens Road.
