The Moffat House

In the 20th Century's early years, this Spanish style house on 117th Street north of 84th Avenue was home to the Moffat Family. Four year old Lucy Moffat appears in a 1910 photograph sitting in the front porch (see link below). Sadly, she died only a few months later of laryngitis - a sometimes fatal illness in the days before penicillin. The house gave way to the Atria Assisted Living Residence.
