The Lento Home

The old Spanish style Brackenridge home on the last page was not the only one lost when the Atria Assisted Living Home was built. Also lost was a beautiful English Tudor style home around the block on 84th Avenue east of 117th Street. It was home to the Lento Family.  Bill Lento writes:

"I loved that house. When they tore it down a part of me got torn down with the house. ... The house was bought in 1958 (same year I was born) and I lived there for 26 years of my life."
